Forests

My series of quilts on the theme of forests protests the devastating deforestation of our planet. Cutting down trees causes massive ecological damage; certain species of animals and plants are becoming extinct.
It is deeply disturbing to see barren stretches of stripped land which were once vibrant and flourishing forests swarming with myriad forms of wildlife.
